Del Rio Inn

I believe this establishment is a health hazard. We found roaches in the living and bath rooms. Also, the bed sheets were unwashed, as they were covered with pubic hairs and stains. The rugs were disgustingly filthy. And despite the heat, we were forced to turn off the A/C unit because it sounded like jet turbine. Although they advertise "Free Wifi" we could not get any signal whatsoever. We've never encountered worse lodgings in our lives.

Very nice people and staff. Essay 500 or more. Madonna knows how. Good area to watch healthy animals and goats. Did not see the lake missing my home. Police absolutely wonderful. Great dusk view from the pool

This is the place I stay at the most whenever I'm in Del Rio, sometimes I'm heading out towards Alpine & Marfa at the time, sometimes I'm not. This is the motel I like the most. Beds are comfortable, TV's are good, & you got a microwave & small refrigerator. No complaints there. Sometimes the refrigerators aren't cold enough, lucky for me I usually carry an ice chest. Your not supposed to get ice there at the ice machines at the motel. I know Del Rio pretty well & I can always find a place to get ice. So I get around okay. Did I forget to mention, the air conditioners work perfectly. Very handy during the summer time when you got the 100 degree weather. I come here to stay when I go out to enjoy Seminole canyon state park or the judge Roy Bean visitors center in Langtry. I've stayed here many times in the past, more times then I care to count in fact, & the rooms are acceptable. But don't make the mistake I made one time, I once forgot to take the metal key out of the door when I was entering my room, & left it in the door overnight, Its a good thing I had my dog with me in the room at the time otherwise somebody might have gotten in there & gotten my vehicle keys. Boy was I lucky! I've never done that before. & I'll try to make sure I don't do it again no matter where I stay! Prices have gone up just a tad since the last time I stayed here. But they're fair. Bath water is plenty hot. Remember people a lot of the bathroom sinks & counter are going to be kind of short so don't be too surprised if you got to get down on your knees so its not any lower then your chest. Because that's the trouble I have at some motels I stay at. Its just not the same as it is back home. The motels quiet & decent. & management makes sure theirs no creeps outside your room like with other motels. Remember if you got screw drivers ratchets laying around or a tool box in the back your truck make sure its secure. I always put stuff in the front seat at night. Its a safe motel though. No problems here. Better safe then sorry! Because Tips below limit how much you'd like to tell, I am writing my tips here! here's my tips, 1. Hang on to your room key, 2. if refrigerators aren't cold enough make sure you have a small ice chest handy. 3. Choose a room where the air conditioners are blowing plenty of air, believe I've stayed in the ones that don't blow out enough air. 4. Double check to see that your not forgetting your belongings.

I stayed here for one night on a cross country solo driving trip. I checked in fairly early and there were no other occupants. The next morning there were still very few. The hotel across the street has better reviews. I can't focus on anything specifically wrong with the place. I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I just stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip and I loved that we could find such a nice hotel at a low price. My room smelled nice when we walked in (made it a lot easier to relax)and it looked like they just ordered new comforters for the bed. The staff was so friendly and I definitely know where I'll be staying next time I'm in Del Rio. Can't wait to come back in the summer to try their pool.
