THE FLORIDIAN INN

The wife and son were very hospitable, and great host, but the father (owner) was absolutely the worst Inn Keeper I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I was forced to change rooms because the first room had bad air conditioner. Apparently they shut off the A/C and fridge when room is empty, which causes the room to get into the 90's. I checked out the next day, and had left a SIM card for my new phone on the counter. I returned to retrieve my SIM card. I ran into the father, he was very rude and short. He claimed he never saw the SIM card. I explained where it was, then he claimed he did see it on the ground, and swept it away with the floor dust. I kept saying it was on the microwave, he kept repeating, floor, floor. I said I was going to call the police, he walked away and towards the room I had rented. I started to drive away and noticed him reach into his pocket, he then waved me over, and handed me my SIM card, he said see it was on the floor, (I believe he meant the ground). I clearly saw him remove the SIM card from his pocket. I would highly recommend everyone run as fast and far from this establishment. Rik

A/c would not cool the room and no hot water.

No hot water, it would eventually get warm. Each night a pair of ducks would return to the pool. Duck crap in the pool and around the edge.

It was located right next to a bus stop which made the decision to leave our car park at the hotel and that the bus back to the beach side and return back when we were done.

Beds were not comfortable and shabby pillows
