Empress Motel

Everything the property was great!

I had to find a cheaper hotel for my son and i for the Airshow weekend and i found this place the Empress it was in my budget which isn't very big our room didn't really have a view but it was right across from the swimming pool entrance and the swimming pool was really nice the water was perfect temp and right mixture of chlorine it wasn't overpowering pool deck is small but still very nice, shower pressure was amazing for real i was impressed tv cable was kinda loose but we got it working we don't sweat the little stuff just grateful we had a place to sleep and shower, hotel is close to the beach parking was fine didn't seem busy this weekend here at the hotel though theres at least 1 space per room, overall we had fun with no real issues

Room was older and had a few things wrong but for the most part it was fine my son and i don't sweat the small stuff and always try to think of the positives, room was on the cheaper side and was clean enough for us its just older which we like anyway we can't afford the Hilton and are just glad we can be at the amazing Atlantic Ocean and beach here in OCMD

Close to the beach. Decent clean bathroom. Cleaning staff was nice

Booked a double bed and got a single queen. The room wasn’t ready at check in, waited 20 minutes, said the room was ready, walked over to the room and they were still cleaning it.

Close to boardwalk; lots of parking

Dresser drawers smell bad so we couldn’t use them. Like they had been wet. There should be a way to enforce quiet times- we had extremely loud neighbors til 3am. This could be because there’s nobody in the office at all and the staff of the Sahara is taking care of both motels.
