Mahalo Diamond Beach

Distance to the beach was perfect. Pillows were good. Nice staff

Rooms need updating. The bathroom was very tiny. The pull out couch (mattress) very old and uncomfortable.

Room was clean, location was excellent! Quiet location with free shuttle service to boardwalk!

Only one small elevator

Staff are friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. The pool is well maintained.

Noticeable noise of a vent or machine at midnight at second floor. And closets at fifth floor are in poor condition.

-motel is nicely decorated -pool clean and never felt crowded -rooms were spacious (separate bedroom is key) -several outdoor deck spaces (great place to gather & play cards at night)

-not enough luggage carts available (upon our arrival we waited a long time and still nothing- had to make several trips up & down to our room) -no umbrellas (had to rent on beach $25/day and they took them at 4pm) -no attendant to help lug all our stuff to beach. (Mahalo in Cape May offers this service plus free umbrellas too) - the walk to the beach is very, very far -room never felt cool. We talked to many families and that was the common complaint.

Loved the close walk right to the beach. Loved that rooms were cleaned EVERY SINGLE day . Loved the cleanliness of the resort. Love love that you can rent bikes AND chairs for the day ! Love that they have a list of activities to do with your kids / families right at the counter .

Did not like that there is no cooking space . Did not like the uncomfortable bed . Did not like that we would set temperature to 65 (as low as is could go) and temp. Would read 72-75 at night making it very warm to sleep in some nights.

Close to the beach

Air conditioning didn’t work the whole stay. A portable AC unit was placed in our window for the time there. No credit for the inconvenience. The safe was locked and could not use it.
