"Best location in a perfect small town"

We were very pleased with our 2-night stay here. We asked for a kitchenette in a dog-friendly room and were bumped up to a full kitchen. It’s surprisingly nice to have a kitchen sink when you’re road-tripping. The beds are typical innerspring on a box spring and a little bouncy. Towels were substantial and sufficient. There were both front and back windows in the room, so airflow was good. The star is the location, which is walkable to coffee shops, bars, restaurants and the farmers’ market (when running). (Don't know why TripAdvisor rates this a 70/100 for walkable -- it's 100/100!) Great area for walking the dog and appreciating the beautiful historic homes. It's nice to see classic motels getting new life, and the new owners (as of 2023) are doing just that.

"Would stay again"

The beds were comfortable and the host was nice

The bedroom smelled like vomit, almost like the carpet was cleaned and then the room was not aired out, had to leave the door open for a few hours to get the smell out

"Nice motel and we would stay there again."

Convenient location. Clean. Comfortable beds. Had small kitchen facilities which would be nice if staying longer than one night. Pet friendly, although they should post a notice regarding pet fee.

Water for the bath didn’t get really hot. The room was cold and the heater didn’t work. The smoke detector kept flashing (no sound) like a strobe light. It bothered my husband but I slept through it.

Great town! Room was clean , beds were comfy and Front Desk person was great! We went to the Big Cat Cafe (Darby) best Philly steak & fries ever ate!! Thanks for the recommendation! Will Definitely stay here again if we return to the area.
