Days Inn by Wyndham Troy IL

* Property is an older place. * Flooring updated, but bathroom ceiling is cheap drop ceiling that reduces headroom. * No microwave in breakfast area, no orange juice, just orange "drink". * Both nights we were there the other guests close to our room were exceedingly loud and raucous. Many sirens through the night. Would have been nice to have 2 chairs in the room.

Not much to look at but was a great surprise at how clean the rooms were. All we needed was a place to lay our heads while visiting overnight our grandchild at SIUE. Great value for the money. Continental breakfast provided, but there is a Cracker Barrel catty corner from it. Also a Taco Bell and a fantastic little place for smoked bbq. Plus a dispensary right around the corner.

Inexpensive and clean. That's all I cared about so it did a great job for me. It was quiet at night. No problems whatsoever would stay again.

Bathrooms were a little dirty but that was it

If you're looking for a nice motel on a tight budget, this is the place. Very clean and quiet.

Easy access and the staff was nice. Breakfast is included.

The room was efficient. The price was a little high for what was offered.

The staff were very friendly at check in and check out. My issue was the room was hot when we arrived, so we adjusted the temp and left for a few hours, then the air would go from comfortable to hot to cold, the bed was extremely firm and the pillows were very flat, my husband and i didn't sleep great since we prefer a softer mattress and fluffy pillows. Overall it wasn't a bad stay and the price was good. We had a couple spiders and dead bugs randomly in the room so i knocked the cleanliness down because bugs freak me out. Ultimately one night no big deal, lots of gas stations and food options near by, very convenient to get into st louis without the high price of staying in the city. But not somewhere I'd want to stay more than one night.

Clean, comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. TV, fridge, microwave. Simple breakfast and coffee in the morning. Basic accommodations at a good price, that's all I needed. Would stay there again.
