The Knolls

The room was wonderful. It was decorated beautifully and it had everything anyone would need for a trip. Debbie responded to any issues promptly and checked in while I was there. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone going to the area.

Really great place to stay, close to all the places but in a quiet spot, comfortable and cozy like home, extra details like snacks and toiletries were great. Size is about the same as a standard hotel room but I felt it was better because of the extras and comfort level- felt like home. Will stay again next year!

This was my second stay at The Knolls and it won’t be my last. It is now my go to place to stay whenever I am in the Martinsburg or surrounding area. Debbie has thought of everything to make the visit comfortable. I wouldn’t change a thing!

Property was perfect! Everything was clean, room was small but VERY comfortable. Check-in and checkout were painless. Host was responsive. Can't recommend enough!

My husband and I spent 2 days in Martinsburg & Harper’s Ferry… the very reasonable price caught my attention but the great reviews and picture of the room made my decision…The owner Debbie was very nice to talk to and gave nice local recommendations…the room was very clean and nicely decorated…great attention to detail… the room even came with some waters and snacks and also some toiletries…she even left us a bottle of wine and a box chocolates for our anniversary!! I would highly recommend!

Best value for the price in the area. A surprising reinvention of the roadside motel. Clean and well appointed with attention to details that make the visit comfortable. Debbie was very helpful, easy to work with and only a phone call away. Definitely my first choice for a place to stay when I am back that way!

No need to read any other review or keep scrolling, book your stay! I had a perfect experience. The Knolls had everything you could think you would need. They checked in to ensure the stay was going well, the room was very neat and clean with high quality. Parking is directly in front of room and easily accessible. Bed and pillows were perfect, and the overall design was very well thought out with stylish decor. Complimentary hygiene products and snacks/water/coffee, etc provided. Check in and out is essentially as easy as walking through the door. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about the Knolls!! A cozy, immaculately decorated little efficiency. Perfectly located near the area historic sites. We appreciated the recommendations in the binder. Thanks!!

It's a converted/renovated motel that is cozy and VERY well done. The host was kind and attentive and when there was an issue with the wifi it was promptly fixed and we were notified of the status of the fix. The room was very clean and had water in the fridge and snack available. It's set up more like an AIR B&B with digital locks and everything that you need in the kitchenette available. Definitely worth the price! Would stay again if in the area. Close to many things including VA & MD (less than 30 min drive)
