Motel 6 Yuba City, CA

I understand this was a cost effective room, but the towels were stained and frayed. The housekeeping staffed failed to freshen up the room and provide fresh towels, the front male front desk staff were unaware or unable unable to explain the security deposit hold of funds and release time. My son left his pillow in the room at check out the next morning we called and spoke with a female front desk agent who located said pillow! We happily drove 50 miles to pick it up, but of course by then the staff change had occurred and the mail staff member could not locate the pillow and did not appear to even care! What a total disappointment! I will spend a bit more next time to ensure a small amount of customer service! Sheila 5136B96322521

This is by far the worst Wyndham hotel. Women at counter was rude and absolutely no help I ask for a restroom while she explains it could be a 30 minute wait. Really I was forced to stand there and wait No excuse.

This Days Inn has been recently renovated, so the rooms are ok. I’d skip the breakfast and not count on it. It only contains a few items, but there is a nice Starbucks and IHOP very close by. If you’re interested in a clean, modern room, then this hotel is ok.

This is a bad property in reservations not what you booked, cleanliness bad and maid service worse, somedays they just never show up. Maids believe if they show up they only have to change out towels and make the bed. Heaters not working. Internet works parttime, tv can not be watched due to the waves in it, coffee and tea along with cups and Kleenex never refilled, no hair dryer in room.

Room stank, wood floor creaking every step. No remote for TV. Bed horrible, like a springboard, every move bounce the other half almost out of it. No hot water, was barely warm. Sink wouldn’t drain. Coffee maker didn’t work. And they called that a continental breakfast. Sugar bomb kids cereal, and sliced bread. The only good thing was seeing it in the rear view mirror.

Yes, this property has new owners and is being completely renovated. No carpeting anywhere in the rooms - tile floors in the bathroom and laminate flooring in the rest of the room. I was given the option to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was great. Only exception is the furniture - it all needs to be replaced as both soft covered chairs were stained very badly from many years of use. I forgot and left the A/C off one day and came back to a room that smelled a bit like a smoking room. Could be from the old furniture, or the walls or from the workers working above. A/C worked but was surprised to see lots of dried plaster chunks inside of the grill work - Rooms will need a bit of extra cleaning after the renovation is done but new owners may not see that as necessary. It will be another 2 months before reno. is completed.

Glad that this hotel has availability. very outdated and could use some upgrades in the rooms and the amenities for sure. Towels were very thin and small and the air was on all night on high and the room wasn't cool at all

Day inn yuba city is a dump. Dirty an unkept. The toilets back up every time you flush. There are holes in the walls. The rooms are filthy and they stink. The pool is advertised as an amenity but it is green, The only thing that would willingly go in there is a frog
