Bears Ears Inn

Lovely staff and clean , pool was out of use but not their problem .

Comfortable and quiet in an area with lots of outdoor recreation, but not much in the way of dining or resources in town. The room was nice, but quirky--I had to put a bandaid over a weird automatic light sensor in the bathroom after it flashed on in the night, gave me a migraine, and wrecked the whole night for sleep. Weird toilet handle. Weird breakfast. The pool was closed (unexplained) just when we wanted a swim. They advertise with a lovely photo of the pool, but then you can't use it?! I'd stay there again, though. There aren't a lot of options in the area.

We typically stay at a different hotel when we visit Blanding (several times a year); they didn't have availability on this trip. Admittedly, I'm a bit of a hotel snob - cleanliness and comfort really matter to me. When I'm on the road, I want to be able to have a great night's sleep. I am frequently really disappointed with hotel/motel brands I don't know in small towns. What a pleasant surprise it was to stay at the Bears Ears Inn! Newly remodeled. Very clean. Comfortable bed and nice bedding/pillows. Microwave/mini fridge/coffee maker in the room. Solid WiFi. Great standard hotel breakfast (muffins, waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc.) included. Surprisingly quiet given its location on the highway. The staff was incredibly friendly (we had a very late check-in and needed a late check-out) and helpful. Dog friendly, too. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to my colleagues.

I have booked a 2bedroom apartment wit 2 queenbeds in each, the total of 4 queenbeds. On arrival, the property didnt have such an apartment and offered another one with bench beds, not cleaned, horrible smell in the toilet... I have asked if they have another possibility. They gave us 2 separate rooms with required beds. These rooms were very noisy, not clean, hairs allover, disgusting... breakfast very poor, impossible to eat anything. Orange juice is a liquid that does not have anything to do with orange juice. We could not eat anything. On top of that, they have charged my credit card with double amount. One for the benchbed apartment that i did not book and did not use and the second one for the rooms. Cheaters!

It was obvious the owners and staff take great pride in this special motel.

The parking lots could be better..
