The Brooks Motel

Remote quiet location, but bed sheets were comfortable.

Noone was available for the check-in upon arrival Phone check-in was lengthy... 1/2 hour on hold waiting for instructions. Check-in form simple but unable to upload DL photo ID. -struggled. Small room, very warm, and air-conditioning unit super laud. -on all night. Neon lights in the room made it too bright and warm. Big mosquitoes 🦟 in the room.

The stay was great. We had some issue getting the access code to work getting into the rooms, but altogether it was ok.

I like the location and the rooms are very comfortable

The only thing that I didn’t like was the room I had this time which was room 9 didn’t have a toaster oven or microwave. Now the last room that I was staying in the last time was room 21 and that room met our expectations. But other than that the motel is really good

Easy process. Clean room with comforable bed.

Strange at first because it doesnt look, or feel, like a motel ive been to before. Summer camp-ish, in a good way. I woke up unmurdered to the sound of birds and a stream that flows behind the building. I highly recommend.

A basic motel. The renovations are nice. The room is small. We had trouble with the code on the door, but were finally able to reach someone and get it straightened out.

I love the person who assisted me over the phone. She was extremely patient and very helpful. She is a valuable emploeyee.

Simple, old fashioned motel situation--comfortable beds, plenty of covers, quiet, clean--a great place to stay. And well worth the price. I was amazed I found this on Memorial Day weekend. Owners/hosts are great--full of info and very available. All in all, a great place.

There are not many places to stay near Hillsdale, NY. The Brooks Motel is an exceptional find. A renovated 1950s roadside motel, The Brooks provided a safe haven for the night. A no host hotel, guests are provided by email a code for the keypad on the door. A text and phone number are provided to reach the host if something is needed. The hosts are quick to respond and very gracious. Beds are new memory foam and very comfy. My only complaint is that there is no carpet on any floor, only concrete.

Great little motel. Great location. Everything you need for a trip to Columbia County
