Overall it was a great stay for us and the pup. The bed needed some work, but overall I was happy with everything else. It felt safe and comfortable for us to travel to the badlands during the day while our pup got to hang out.

It was a hot day and when I arrived the air conditioner was running and the room was cool. The room was clean and the location, even though it is close to I-90 was very quiet. The snacks and a few drink boxes are a nice touch.

This is not a national chain, so don’t expect granite countertops. But it is a lovely little roadside motel run by wonderful, friendly, helpful people in a quiet, yet convenient setting. They even left snacks for us! And as reported, the gas across the street is about 20 cents cheaper a gallon than anywhere else. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The Redwood Motel was a nice motel. The room was small but had all the necessary things. The downside was the noisy air conditioning unit. The owner did a great job of checking in with us prior to arrival and let us know that there were not any restaurants or grocery stores in the area. She suggested some places to eat in Wall.

I loved that it was out of the way but still only about 10 minutes from Wall Drug. The property manager called me before check in to tell me everything I needed to know to get settled in which was very helpful!

Expensive for what you received in return. Beds horrible, AC took a long time to cool the room, about 2 hours. The AC WAS NOISY.

We love staying at a quality family-owned motel like this! Incredible communication from owner from booking to check-in and we're sure they would have been easily reachable if we had any issues (we had zero issues). Room and linens were spotless and the smart tv was an unexpected boon for folks like us traveling with kiddos. WiFi was fast, and more importantly, secured--something we rarely find at big chain hotels. Incredible value for folks visiting Badlands National Park who aren't camping or prefer to avoid Wall or Rapid City. We're glad to have found it!

Neat little place, true mom and pop hotel. Very clean, nice and quiet and cheap, my personal trifecta of hotel perfection. Would recommend.
