Friendly staff, quiet, easy parking, very clean.

Pretty remote location, but so convenient if you dont want to stay in a large city. This was our second stop on a cross-country move with our senior cat. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We were able to park right outside our room. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Each room has a roku device which allows you to sign into your own streaming services, it also allows you to set your checkout date, and logs you out automatically at the end of your stay. Our only complaint was that the A/C was loud, but that is a very minor issue.

This is a tiny motel (4 rooms I think). There was no breakfast offered but the snacks in the room were complimentary so that was nice. The air conditioner was really loud though and only ran on one speed (high) we couldn't get it to switch after trying for at least 30 min. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Lots of flies in the room but there was a fly swatter hanging on the wall. Obviously that is a common problem.

Great little find just outside of Wall! Staff contacted me prior to our arrival via phone call and let us know essential information about the room and amenities.

This is a really cute little motel off of interstate 90. Jane, the owner and I spoke on the telephone and she was very thoughtful and thorough about check-in instructions and where I could grab something to eat. There is nothing much out here in Western South Dakota, but I really enjoyed the solitude of the motel location.. The room is small, but it had everything I needed. I could tell that there was thought put into the furnishings and it was clean! Which it’s not always the case with these off the beaten path small motels.. The only suggestion is to repair the hole in the bottom of the door jam. I put the doormat up against it prevent any slithery critters from possibly getting in. I would stay here again.

Staff were responsive and caring. Gave us an upgrade due to a mistake when we registered.

Quiet, clean, safe, easy to access and super nice owner!

If I hadn’t read previous positive reviews about the Redwood Motel, I never would have stayed here. The property is one I normally would not consider, especially as it looks driving in, however, I’m so glad I trusted the reviews. We stayed in Room 21, a king room. The room was clean, there was a basket of snacks, and the cooling unit worked great! The bed was comfy, with lots of pillows, and the room and area was so quiet and peaceful. The shower was fantastic, and the extra touches in the room were thoughtful and appreciated (extra towels, a fluffy makeup wash cloth, and of course, the snacks as already mentioned.) Stacy was awesome and we felt welcome! I will definitely stay here again!

Only 13 minutes from Wall Drug but much less expensive. Very quick and easy check in system. Right off the highway for easy access.
