The Village Motel

The staff was exceptional, the room was very cozy, comfortable and safe! There is laundry onsite and both motel locations are within walking distance to local conveniences.

For the price I paid, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I stay in a lot of hotels and motels for work, so I’m usually pretty easygoing. They definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff was super nice and offered condolences when they heard we were in town for a funeral. The rooms were very clean and looked as if recent renovations had been done to an obviously older motel. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and stay again.

The bed and pillows weren’t as firm as I like, but you can’t win them all.

Not the fanciest place but it was clean. They could use some new carpet. The beds were very soft. But sheets were nice and not too stiff (like some motels are) a plug on the outside to plug our EV in would have been nice but it’s all good. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Overall not too bad of a stay, for the price. Staff was very kind!

Condition of the room was fair. Staff nice & helpful.

Was not nearly up to the 9 rating on reviews. No outlets in convenient places. Very outdated. Holes in cutains. Doors didn't seal well.
