Wonderful staff and room
This was a decent motel for a weekend. The bed was comfortable, soft, had a variety of pillows, lots of hot water. It was an easy check-in, and we had no issues. However they used a damp-rid type of product that had a very strong smell that made me cough, and the floor felt not clean. There was someone above us and we could hear them walking around and talking, so pretty thin/not sound proofed.

The room was a refuge on a cold winter night but we were disappointed to see stains on the duvet cover, a faint smell of mildew, no handheld shower in the handicap accessible room and the heat did not work in the bathroom. It was convenient to pick up the room keys at the restaurant next door where we also enjoyed a good dinner.

After receiving medical care nearby, daughter and I needed to find an overnight due to inclement weather. Never been to such a nice motel before—stylish, clean, and very comfortable beds with high-quality sheets. Plowing and shoveling were done early the next morning, even though few guests at this time of year. We were only sorry we couldn’t stay to relax a bit! Very small negative: some noise from train and person walking upstairs. If you’re sensitive to a small amount of noise, bring earplugs for sleeping.
