The View Motel

The view was spectacular!!! Staff was nice. Price was reasonable.

This is a cozy little place that I believe could really shine in the Spring and Fall months, if, and only if you are needing to have some level of local accommodation. We reserved the King Suite.

I had to unplug the microwave to just plug in my phone to charge. We figured it out, but this is not a room for those with tech needs, or anyone looking for the "king suite" amenities that usually accompany that sort of booking. This is a small, older, sparsely appointed room. The bath is clean and well lit, but lacking in one serious feature, a decent tub. A king suite room should always have a decent tub that two people can soak in. King suite. I am not built for a mobile home tub. After that, the room was so lacking in just normal features. Sure, soap and stuff, but if I'd paid 40 a night I'd still have been a little WTF. Gaps at the tops of doors. Gaps at the bottom of entry doors big enough for overnight visitors. I didn't hate it, but this is not a premium room. Not even close. I wanted to stay somewhere else after checking in.

Basic hotel. In the winter the rooms get chilly, no weatherstrip on door. Still a great view if you can ignore the buildings on the street below. Excellent location for Sedona and Verde Valley.

Very friendly staff and nicely renovated

Pretty view. Off the main road, so it was quieter. Older property. Clean. Good mattresses. Simple. No "fluff".
