Sunny Cove Manor

The house was lovely and in a great location with super views The hosts were friendly and helpful. Lots of activities to do nearby and good for exploring the Cape. Loads of great restaurants too.

We were very cold in the rooms, though we recognise it was winter! The heaters then provided did help a wee bit. The breakfast was very nice though more limited cooked items than anywhere else we had stayed. The hospitality tray/water in fridge wasn't replenished or overly generously stocked.

The breakfast was a delight, cooked by Margaret-Ann. She made sure that I had gluten-free options as requested. The breakfast room offers a beautiful view over False Bay, adding to a relaxing expereince.

Very kind and relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfast. Nice oceanview.

This review of Sunny Cove Manor in Fish Hoek ...a little late, but finally compete, after daily mental reminders calling to me for publication since our return to UK after an amazing time in Cap Town, South Africa. There were 2 of us who stayed 15 Feb- 24th feb 2024 at Sunny Cove Manor & right from the start, our experienc was special.. Step 1: Our booking: Handled impressively with swift & fluid transaction. Directions to Sunny Cove Manor from the Airport, were provided automatically via email, great help, especially if visitors don't know the country/ area. Step 2: Arrival / Check in: Handled with ease and completely fluidly. Although only a staircase (no steep stairs), there's a luggage lift to avoid hauling heavy cases up the stairs which is a god send! Location: The Sunny Cove Manor is perfectly situated, just a short walk to the beach, as well as easy access with car. Vehicle Parking/Security: Secure on site parking with automated security gate lock up over night. 3 ladies run the Sunny Cove Manor Guest House: Margaret- Anne (Owner), Sabine & Charmaine. The positive, welcoming & hospitable service theses 3 ladies provide to their guests is amazing -Nothing is 'too much trouble', & being 'locals' to the area themselves, they are a treasure of information about the areas history, places to visit & general interesting stories / tips to enhance their visitors stay. Accomodation: Various rooms to choose from. (we chose the Double room with sea view- Very Comfortable!). Room is tastefully decorated with polished wood flooring & high ceilings, nimifridge & tea making facilities.

Nothing negative about this place at all. Everything was lovely. The Breakfast selection is amazing. We didn't want to leave.Sunny Cove Manor is a Gem & we look forward to our next visit.

The location and view from the dining room was exceptional The entire home was clinically clean. Breakfast as prepared by Sabine was absolutely delicious and her knowledge of the area was outstanding. We would love to return to this venue.

Super location, staff lovely, breakfast excellent

Not much except our room (smallest, and yes, cheapest) was a tiny little bit cramped (not the bathroom). But more than adequate.

- Location can not be improved upon. Over one road onto the promenade towards the swimming beach. Perfect for walking, for swimming, and surrounded by breath-taking views. A garden for reading, or a comfy lounge well equipped with books for the surprise rainy day. My room had amazing views of False Bay. As a huge bonus the room was equipped with ground coffee for an early morning treat, fresh milk, and it was replenished as required. Housekeeping staff do an awesome job there was nothing that could be cleaner or neater.
