We had an overnight stay in Hotel Tarbena, to incorporate some walking excursions in the area. It is a comfortable and well appointed hotel, in the middle of the town. Juan , our host, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was healthy and very tasty. Just what was needed prior to a day's walking.
GBJuan was an excellent host. He was so helpful in suggesting walks, places to see, places to eat. His breakfasts were superb and we were lucky enough to have two of his evening meals which were absolutely delicious.

USJuan was excellent, happy to share his local knowledge of the walks in the area. Tárbena is a great village, with friendly and helpful people, great coffee and cakes.
GBGBCentral location in the village. Excellent information and routes provided for local walks. Juan was very flexible and helpful for everything we needed. His English was excellent too. Our room was quirky with an added sitting room and roof terrace - we loved it.
The church bells ring on the hour throughout the night which at first was disturbing but didn’t bother us after that. Juan provided earplugs if required.
