Cannella Suites Ubud - Ubud Center prime location

It’s was in a great location for the Bali Spirit festival & yoga barn. Lots of nice eating places around. It was clean with good sized rooms, balcony & bathrooms. Pool got some sun & was good for a quick dip. From the breakfast I ordered it was yum! It’s not crowded & a nice quiet space with a little restaurant for eating.

Pool area is perfect for laps, dip & quick hang. Not so much to chill for a long while as it’s a small space. Some of the friends I was travelling with didn’t get a room by the pool so jt was dark as no natural light came in. More add on options for breakfast. I would have liked to ass eggs to my greens. Or more granola to the fruit salad.

What a disaster of a stay. We arrived around 6pm, it was pouring outside and we were cold and wet. The guy at the reception was on the phone and didn't even look at us. We though ok, he must be busy so we were standing and waiting in from of him. 20 minutes! later we realised he is not planning checking us in so we had to ask another person (who was very lovely and seemed like the only person who cared) to help. After some back and forth we got the key from the room. One of the towels was full of ants. It smelled bad in the bathroom. An hour later, the water disappeared in the entire hotel. Mind you, it is not just shower but you can't really use the toilet either. There was no water for about 3 hours. Even though we were on the top floor, it was extremely loud in the room. I think the qualiy of this building is very poor because it really felt like you are in the middle of the busy street. Very uncomfortable pillows. I do not recommend staying here.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming, they couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. They offered great recommendations of places to visit and where to eat. They even gave us an upgrade as there was a bit of construction ongoing next door and they didn’t want us to be disrupted. The facilities are clean and comfortable, the place is well maintained and in a great location - walkable to town, monkey forest, ubud palace etc, it is also easy to get taxi pickup/drop off. Great value for money - would highly recommend staying here!

Location was perfect nearby Restaurants and definitely value for money on the room, the size, balcony etc exceeded expectations, as well as the people at the property were genuinely lovely. Would gladly stay again.

The staff was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. There was a construction site nearby and very noisy at night because of the traffic and location.
