The property is a nice barn conversion, the downstairs bedroom is small and the upstairs room is not private as it doesn’t have a door. The biggest issue for me is that is was freezing cold and none of the radiators works. They make a big thing of providing logs for the fire but who wants to make a fire when waking up first thing in the morning or when arriving back late?? I was working so came back one evening at 10pm, it was colder inside than it was outside. I’m sure it’s fine in the summer I would not stay here the other 10 months of the year.

GBBeautiful accommodation, finished to a high standard and in a quiet but convenient location. Good kitchen facilities, and comfortable super king size bed. Nice fireplace with logs provided.
I understood that no towels would be provided but I didn't realise that would also mean no tea towels! There was also no sponge for washing up or an oven glove which was a little inconvenient. We found it quite cold in the accommodation and time consuming to heat up with the fire due to the large open plan area. The wall heaters barely made any difference so we ended up bringing the single duvet down to the couch to keep warm in the evenings.
