Excellent value for money! Lovely location, beautiful room and bathroom, 5* food and staff. However, we had to close the bedroom window, due to road noise and church bells.

Excellent and reasonably priced accommodation in a pretty village near the Hadrian's Wall path. An excellent place for a stopover near the M6. Very friendly welcome and good food too.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant that evening, which was excellent, as well as a delicious cooked breakfast the following morning. It was a great stopover for our trip to Scotland since it’s just a few miles off the M6. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend The Sally! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quaint little Rural pub, staff were wonderful, the rooms and the pub were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

The hotel was lovely and very clean. We had a great stay nothing was any problem to the chef as we are vegetarian and vegan. They accommodated both of us for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely stay again and recommend. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is very close to M6 for heading north or south.

Even though there was a problem with our food order it was quickly resolved. Overall the food was excellent
