Eastbourne Lodge

When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). He showed me a double room but the toilet was broken, a sign in the door saying do not use. I asked for an alternative room with a working toilet. He showed me to a single room but it had not been cleaned. Still had the last guests bedding and rubbish in the bin. I decided not to stay there so I found another hotel. I went through my booking on hotels.com to ask for a refund, but they said they couldn’t find my booking. Very frustrating!! The money has already left my account but I don’t think I can get it back.

Breakfast was good.

We booked Eastbourne lodge. When we arrived , there was no triple room there. Then they called somebody and they send us Baltimore lodge. Then they said there also no triple room. After they arranged in legolands hotel which is close by. So, that was not good. If no triple room in Eastbourne lodge, don't put in the booking site. Ther was no reception , We have to call the number displayed in the door. It's not professional.

Nothing

Not a good place to stay it's cheap and guess I don't ask for much .but does not look like it gets cleaned and my room stunk of marijuana.at to open the window and had the heater on at the same time too keep warm .
