Kubu Kirana

The name reflects perfectly the place. Kubu was more than just a place to stay, it was home of graceful aura for the couple days we stayed in. Thank you Juli and Komang for making our stay in Ubud an unforgettable one.

Staff are amazing, very helpful and give great suggestions. They go out of their way to help you. The place has such a nice character and many friendly cats. Everything is clean and breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was lovely. Before we arrived we were contacted to arrange a check in time, which went smoothly. The hotel itself has a central pool with bedrooms along the side. The bedrooms were clean and large, and towels provided for the bathroom and pool towels too. The breakfast was nice and tasty, although slightly limited with options.

The breakfast had to be selected the night before, which wasn't too much of an issue, but I don't always know what I'll fancy the next morning. Also, the walls between rooms do let an amount of sound through, same with noises from upstairs aswell. I'm a heavy sleeper but it could be a problem for some (we also could have just had noisy neighbours).

Friendly staff who greet you by name, daily room service, cute and comfortable property, quiet street, private, nice pool, well stocked.

Only downside would be that WiFi connection isn’t the strongest inside of the cottage. Otherwise a perfect stay :)

Fantastic stay here, the owner and the staff are incredibly attentive and kind. Good food, rooms are cleaned every day. The pool is well maintained and clean. There are also cats, and a dog if one is into animals. Tobi the cat in particular is really cute, and Chiki the dog.

A lovely little haven of peace amidst the buzz of Ubud! The hospitality was warm and thoughtful, with great recommendations and genuine care. The presence of many cats around the property made it feel like home — it’s truly a place with soul. Thank you so much for everything!
