Kubu Kirana

We had a wonderful time in Kubu Kirana, the staff is extremely kind and they go the extra mile to help you with everything you need.

We liked everything about our stay, the staff is the most friendly and helpful, they make you feel like family but take care of you like royalty. The facilities are amazing and super clean. My favourite accommodation from my visit in Bali. Hope we will go back soon!

I booked this place because of the rating, but after staying there - I don't understand where good reviews come from. - upon arrival the room smelled very strongly with perfume. I didn't pay much attention first, but the next day the smell of perfume was gone and the room started to smell of mold and cigarettes, which was disgusting - there are 2 beds, not one big - which was ok because this is what was advertised on photo, but just fyi - when you put 2 beds together you can't make it one like usually, if this makes sense:) there is still a huge gap between beds because of their configuration - the facilities and the way how things are done and served there - give you a cheap hostel vibe, and this doesn't correspond the price - the pool is killed with chlorine, I swam there one time, my skin and hair became super dry and started to smell with chlorine.. - one time I asked for additional drink for breakfast - just black tea - I said I could pay for this if needed. When I received the tea - it was not a teapot - but just a simple mug half full with hot water and the teabag like the one that you get for free in the room. They didn't charge me and I thought that this was complementary. When I was checking out - and already driving from the property - the staff ran to my car and said that I should pay for the tea 20k. I did, but it was a super unpleasant scene especially because they didn't even say thank you or goodbye after this, just accused me of not paying for tea, took money and left. Only later I realised that actually I didn't have to pay for this tea because I traveled alone and I paid for the double room and 2 people. Meaning that they actually had to serve me 2 breakfasts every day instead of one and for sure didn't have right to charge me for that petty tea. I wouldn't recommend this place. It is priced as something decent, but the attitude and the room are like in a low quality hostel.

We booked this hotel last minute and the owner/ a person in the reception area did not have any issues with this. He even stayed after hours to let us check in. The hotel room was great, basic, but with everything that you would need. You have two options for your breakfast and everyday you can make a new choice. The breakfast is cooked freshly in front of you. The swimming pool was super clean.

Very friendly staff, room size great, air con great, bathroom great, pool great size, parking outside the hotel, quiet!

Bed was creeky and would be good if there was double layered curtains as a bit bright at night due to pool lights and entrance lights. Other than that everything is ideal!

EVERYTHING - just an amazing place! We can recommend it to everyone - from the very first moment on we felt like family. Simple: AMAZING!

There is nothing we did not like. Everything was perfect.

I don't even know where to start. This place suprised us a big time. Even though the room and pool were just great - the staff made our stay just out of this world. They told us about balinese culture, organized couple of tours and amazing cooking class for the local juices. They treated us like the family. And sunny days by the pool were not bad neither ;) Rooms are great and AC is working well, hot water in the shower and TV with Netflix. Bed is also super comfortable. They don't have their own restaurant, but they can order you the local food on affordable price. They have a laundry service and it's ridiculous cheap. It's just a beautiful oasis were you can relax but it's also easy to get to the city and places in Ubud. There's also Luwak coffee place and Silver jewelary class nearby.

I don't see this as negative, but someone might think, it's not in the center. But we actually saw this as a good thing! Because it's super quiet and calm neighborhood, but you get to the center by taxi (which is super cheap) or with a motorbike (they can rent you one). So there's actually nothing negative to say! :D I hope we can come back as soon as possible !!

Where do I even start this place is great value for money the property is quiet and peaceful the pool is clean the rooms are well managed and maintained the mattress and pillows were comfy the WiFi was strong and they have smart TV so Netflix and YouTube is a plus . The staff were just amazing always ready to help and going out of there way most of the times especially Mr Juli he helped me go fix my phone and change money also I’m grateful ☺️

The breakfast could have more options but I truly enjoyed the banana pancakes

Confortable bed, clean bathroom, nice swimming pool, simple but tasty breakfast and great staff.

The ac unit filter needs to be cleaned/replaced.
