"Great location, could do with some TLC"

This is a lovely little bungalow with lots of potential; it has a great sized garden at the back, off road parking at the front, 2 good sized bedrooms, as well as a good sized living room, kitchen and bathroom. You can tell that the kitchen was fitted not too long ago as the cupboard fronts are modern and in good condition. It is also in a lovely location and is near a number of shops and places to get food. The host was also friendly and provided all the information we needed in advance.

The rest of the house, aside from the kitchen units is very dated and the whole property could do with a good clean. It didn't look as though there had been a very thorough clean before we arrived as the rugs needed a good hoover, there was debris in the kitchen units, the bathroom wasn't clean, the hard floors left all of our socks mucky and there was a fair amount of dust and cobwebs around, which set off my allergies. There were also lamps that didn't work, blinds that didn't close and windows that didn't fully shut, which meant doors had to be left open all night otherwise they banged and so this let in a breeze as well as road noise. The house would benefit from a more minimal approach; less of the decorative pieces that are collecting dust, particularly the ones that have no use (like lamps, blinds and clocks that don't work) and a really good deep clean. It would also benefit from being redecorated in most rooms as there are mismatched tiles and stained grout in the bathroom & kitchen and lots of evidence of previous wall adornments such as plugs in the wall and damaged decor.

"Perfect Peaceful Mini Break"

Superb peaceful bungalow with all you need for a relaxing stay in a great location. Really comfy beds, nice warm feel to the place, TV in bed :) and a nice outside space. Parking was easy (as was check in) and the property is close to everything... 5 minute walk to the Chippy and local Co-op. 5 minute drive to Pubs, restaurants, take aways and Morrisons or Lidl supermarkets, and just 10 minutes to Fleetwood Market, the Outlet Shopping centre, Thornton Lodge, Blackpool Tower and Blackpool Zoo. We come to the area regularly and would happily return to 2 bedroom bungalow with parking next time we stay. Thoroughly recommended! Thank you Marie
