"Stunning and so generous"

10.0

Absolutely stunning cottage, everything you could possibly need and more. Very comfy bed, sofas and a cosy feel to the whole place. Lovely to see ask the chickens and turkeys wandering around outside the door. Very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a getaway. Exceptionally generous hosts with enough food options to feed everyone! Very quick to communicate if needed x Close to Bakewell, Matlock and Chatsworth

We had a lovely stay in Gratton Grange Farm holiday cottage. It was so lovely to be so remote. Beautiful countryside all around, can't fail to enjoy yourself no matter what the weather is doing. The accomodation was spot on.10/10.I would highly recommend this property if you truly want to experience the best of the Peak District.

"Couple Stay in January"

10.0

Booked for a quiet couples get away in the Peak District and it was absolutely perfect. Ideal accomodation for what we wanted, and we had the place all to ourselves. Great kitchen facilities, open plan lounge area was really nice, lovely bathroom and bedroom was comfy too. Wasn't too far to drive to places to go for walks, and other attractions either. Would definitely recommend

I stayed here with my partner for one night and have to say it was absolutely fantastic! The cottage was incredibly clean and spacious. More than enough food for breakfast provided which was a lovely touch. Bed was incredibly comfy. Can't fault it and we'll absolutely be back!

"Cosy, homely cottage with plenty of amenities "

10.0

This is a really lovely cottage! We arrived after dark during a storm so when we opened the door and stepped into a warm inviting home we were delighted! Plenty of food for breakfast as well as milk and orange juice in the fridge. The boiler under the stairs has a clothes horse so drying our clothes was easy. The bedrooms were lovely, especially the master king which was a four poster. Plenty of room for storing your clothes in the wardrobe and chest of drawers too. Bring your own hairdryer and extension lead if you need to dry your hair as although there is one there, the cord is very short and plug socket is in the corner. The bathroom has a bath and really powerful shower. When the weather improved we were treated to a little show by the friendly turkeys that are resident and we were able to walk around the farm yard to say hello to some of the other friendly animals. I believe there are some lovely nearby walks, but we didn't have the time to enjoy them on this trip. Highly recommend this place for a lovely quiet break.

"A lovely anniversary get away."

8.0

We had a lovely stay at the cottage last weekend for our wedding anniversary. The cottage is lovely, some of the utensils need replacing like saucepans etc, but overall a very comfortable and peaceful stay. We received a warm welcome from the owners and the array of breakfast items left for us was amazing! We felt very decadent tucking into all the delicious goodies that were left for us, it was a very pleasant surprise. Plenty of hot water, and a fan provided in the bedroom which was very welcomed. The wifi was good and stable and we had no problems using our firestick that we often take away with us. Our dog enjoyed the lovely walks straight from the cottage, and we were well placed for visiting places in the area. We visited the privately owned village of Tissington about 10 miles away. The track down to the cottage is a little bumpy but hey, if you want to be out in the middle of the beautiful countryside then it is a small price to pay. It is perfect for a peaceful get away and we would happily return to this great little find.

"What an absolute delight"

10.0

Stumbled across this via hotels.com. This isn't a hotel, let's be clear, it is much much better. The use of a full cottage, fabulous facilities, full kitchen, sitting room, fabulous bathroom. In the middle of nowhere. We had breakfast on the bench out the front. We had been left lots of choice for breakfast. We will be back, and will be telling friends.
