Beds were soft but that’s not anyone’s problem.

No TV Was difficult to regulate temperature of hot tub as it is wood fired

Lovely accommodation close to town centre. Clean and well maintained. Very friendly staff. Lovely bedrooms and lounge area, great kitchen. Hot tub was great feature.

To warm the hot tub from cold the first night used up all the wood and it was only lukewarm. Had to purchase more wood to be able to make it warm for the remaining 2 nights

Garden could have been a little larger for the dog.

We have just spent four nights at Stable Cottage and loved it! The accommodation is perfect. It's clean, all the rooms are well appointed, the beds are super comfy and the hot tub is fab. Paul is the perfect host - he's really kind and friendly. He taught us how to heat the hot tub and was round with another bucket of logs when we ran out. Clearwell Caves (amazing!) is a half an hour drive and the butterfly farm, maze and mini golf is a twelve minutes drive. The Hotel pub (can highly recommend) and town are less than a five minute walk. You can hire canoes from the Hope and Anchor pub, which is also in town and there's a river walk too We'll definitely rebook!

There is nothing not to like.

Just as the pictures describe, lovely light living space with plenty of comfy seats, great to have the hot tub, and great kitchen. A thoughtful addition to have blankets available. Fantastic water pressure in bathrooms. Easy check-in and responsive, helpful host. The location was perfect. Free driveway parking is always a plus. Thanks!

Showers worked well but could do with being tightened to keep them secure.

Honestly a good place to stay. Neighbours odd and some issues about parking. Hot bub a no go Wood buring and temperature doesn't work. I don't think I would have booked if i knew so a little bit disappointed. Nice place to stay hot tub not for use. Near town so great location

Dangerous hut tub Oh and they are slow at replying to messages. I was left outside after confirming 3pm arrive and almost 4pm after calls and messages no key code.
