Smell of damp throughout cottage unfortunately - not the best for my mums chest. Steep staircase up to the bedroom - not ideal for older couple as toilet downstairs makes nighttime tricky . In need of a bit of modernisation and addressing of damp smell.
GBIdeal for a couple. Very comfortable and quiet. Well equipped for self catering. Very nice gesture to provide coffee, tea, biscuits and milk.
No wi-fi (this was clearly mentioned when we booked but I feel this is a must have).
GBHighly recommend this place. House is very comfy, nice and tidy. Would love to be back there someday.

AUGBVery cosy and perfect for a couple. Had everything that needed for a long weekend. Located in a beautiful area, lots log nice walks around. Planning meals in advance is essential as there were no shop or restaurant. It was a surprise that there was no heating in the bedroom, but if you leave the door open the heater in the landing would heat up upstairs. Otherwise it is a lovely, old fashioned cottage and we enjoyed our stay and absolutely dog friendly that is always a bonus.
The drive was up to the cottage is a bit bumpy.
