Norton Cottage - 3 Bedroom Cottage - Tenby

Firstly, it’s in a really convenient part of town so really close to the beach and easy reach of Tenby. A place we love and have visited many times over the years and will certainly be back to.

This property could be great however it’s clearly just been left for years without being updated. The front door looks like it’s on its last legs, the railing at the front had rotted away and has a sharp edge which is lethal. Shower in bathroom was broken and stuck on one heat. The garden area is tatty and unkempt, the oven was awful and we didn’t even use it. No information on what to do with rubbish, you have to take it all to the north beach car park. Has old sash windows which are rotting away which means you can hear all the traffic in and out of town until late as well as people walking by. The house is also very small, which I appreciate is normal in Tenby, but the photos have been well done to appear more spacious. We’ve stayed in houses in Tenby, this is more akin to a large apartment. The beds are small and there’s not much storage space.

The property offered everything required for a family stay. Very comfortable and very clean. It was an ideal location to Tenby town.

Great location, issues quickly resolved with letting company, ideal base close to town. Comfy furnishings and all mod cons for a home away from home break

Signs of wear and tear, slippery staircase not ideal for bare feet or children!

We stayed at the Norton Cottage in Tenby during the weekend of 18th - 20th of October 2024 with our sons aged 5 and 2. The property is in a good area close to all amenities. We had a lovely stay. The property is a period home with some modern features. Nice courtyard garden with extras like buckets and spades for the beach which the kids loved. We would definitely recommend the cottage but be aware the stairs are not suitable for young children to be left unattended. It’s an old house so this is to be expected.
