Cosy 2-Bed Cottage in Heysham Village

The location in pretty Heysham Village and a lovely cottage. Very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Log burner was fabulous, I stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was super comfy. Great communication from the host in preparation for the stay and during.

Lovely little cosy cottage, very clean and has everything you need. Pub in the back yard 😊 Short walk to the sea.

The cottage was absolutely lovely, it was extremly cosy and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The rustic style made it feel really homely. The bed was probably one of the comfiest we have slept in when booking a cottage!

The location

We arrived at just a touch before 1.0clock having arranged the time ..or at least I thought so …only to be greeted by the cleaning attendant who was obviously cleaning the property…to inform me arrival time was 3.0clock …which was fine …but could have been forewarned….on entering the property it felt cold and damp ….it would have benefited from maybe some prior heating before arriving..even the bedsheets felt damp …also noticed a substantial gap at the side of the front door which let the cold in …the property did have a log burner but that said was quite inadequate interns of size …however there was plenty of logs ….and what looked like parts of pallets that had been broken up …which unfortunately still had rusty nails in which my wife had pricked her finger on …also noticed slug trail on the carpet…which may have come from the logs ..which was quite of putting to say the least….there was quite a few things which wasn’t to our liking to be honest…ie advertised as a sea view..but only if you leave the property and make a short walk…also tv much to far up the wall …ended up with a stiff neck if you watched it long enough…ie not enough distance between the sofa and tv for it to be that high up ….in short not the best short break considering it was a Anniversary surprise for my wife …in fact came home a full day and a half earlier then anticipated

Beautiful, cosy place in the heart of a stunning village.

great location right next door to a great pub and restaurant, comfortable beds and lovely decor.

cannot park right outside although a car park is very close it was difficult as a solo traveller with 2 dogs to unload the car.

Property clean and tidy. Parking restricted. Easy access to sea front. Local Pub / Restaurant. 15 minutes walk to shops. Landlord welcoming
