Bratsera Hotel Hydra

The hotel is in an old sponge factory and had a very nice design charm to it. The staff were incredibly friendly from the receptionists, to the wait staff and the cleaners. Pool always had a casual laid back atmosphere and the staff were always present in a non-intimidating way if you wanted to order drinks or snacks. Breakfast was simple but well presented. There was a breakfast menu that you could order eggs from which we did. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to try the dinner menu as the location of the hotel was right at the top of a perfectly located street with great food at all the restaurants. Super close to the main activity in the harbour and easily walkable to everything you need. Midway through our 1 week stay we felt like welcome locals and the staff always greeted us like friends. Would highly recommend, we will most certainly be back.

Our experience at the boutique was excellent, we had a great time, exploring the island and coming back to our little room with nice shower, air conditioning or relaxing by the freshwater pool. We had an amazing steak dinner the first night and I felt it was better than the other restaurants.

A quiet spot in the middle of a busy/lively village. A unique hotel, beautifully renovated with a refreshing swimmingpool. Great service by very kind people. Rich and very tasty breakfast, excellent diner.

Amazing property in the heart of Hydra. Lovely setting with pool. We had the standard room which had a mezzanine floor for the bed- which was fine for us, but might not suit everyone. Staff very friendly and very helpful . We actually left some items behind and they arranged to send to Athens , I hope I get to go back and stay again. L

This hotel is exceptional. The price is right, the setting is beautiful and the staff is amazing!! Would recommend this to everyone!!

Such a gem on Hydra with a lovely, deep swimming pool. The front desk staff is incredible - always willing to help with anything. Amazing breakfast spread. This is the finest inn on the island for sure, especially if you love elegant, historic places.

This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail in the decor was amazing. This is an old sponge factory that has been renovated into a hotel. It was quiet in the evenings and the staff were 10/10. We were there during very hot weather and the pool was a life saver during the hot days. The AC was cold in the rooms as well. The location was 5 mins from the port and easy to get to. There are tons of restaurants and shops all in walking distance. The breakfast was also fantastic! We will definitely stay here during our next trip to Hydra.

On arriving found Bratsera very easily - lovely setting and pool. Room was disappointing as not as the photos shown on Expedia. Breakfast buffet could be chaos but there was plenty of choice of food. Deposit required for pool towels. On the whole a comfortable stay

Beautiful room in a historic hotel on a quaint and gorgeous Greek Island. Staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed in the suite which had a loft area which was perfect for our teen daughter.
