Maytree Cottage - 4 Bedroom Holiday Home - Tenby

The location is perfect next to the beach but still private. It's spacious and the chairs and sofas are comfy. Good that there's 3 bathrooms. Communication was fast.

The house is simply not clean enough. I understand this is someone's home but it's being sold as a holiday let and originally I booked on Marriott Bonvoy which gives the impression of a high standard you can trust. However all of the towels left on our beds were covered in hairs, so we had to buy more. There were cobwebs in many corners and shelves covered in dust. There was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. There was no beer and wine left as described in the book (not that we expected it but you shouldn't say there is something when there isn't). The pillows were cheap and lumpy and only one per person. One of the twins beds broke as my mom sat on it (she's only about 8 stone) we looked and the slat was split. I do appreciate we could have raised the towel issue during our stay to allow the property to resolve but it showed such a lack of care that it left me not trusting them enough to come in the house whilst we were out.

Good location. Free parking. The house was clean and tidy. Very good experience!

Very spacious, comfortable and very close to the beach. It had everything we needed for the three days.

Couldn't get the fire in the living room to work, but we enjoyed sitting in the kitchen/diner
