The location. The bar was available for meals, and we were able to park our car.

The staff were helpful, but they all seemed hard working, but tired. The enthusiasm was not there. With warming weather, the choice was to leave a patio door open for air and hear the metro trains, or close up and make do with the fan.

Probably the only part of the visit that didn’t meet expectations. Plenty of food but it didn’t look very appetising and some of the bacon was burnt. Fruit ran out and wasn’t replenished for some time. Poor location for the buffet, tucked away in a dark corner and we did not really enjoy the experience. We did not have dinner in the hotel as we were meeting relatives but the breakfast would not encourage me to dine at the hotel. Ass the staff were lovely

Die Lage des Hotels ist top! Direkt am Strand und zur Fähre nach Amsterdam nur 15 Autominuten :) Die Bar im Haus war grds. auch gut, Essen war ok !

Der Service in der Bar , den es quasi nicht gab!!! Seit 20 Uhr leer Plätze aber die Tische bis nach 22 Uhr unaufgeräumt, mit soviel alten Tellern mit Essenresten und Gläsern , dass es sogar an Nebentische (wo man evtl. um 20 Uhr noch einen sauberen Tisch ergatterte) nicht schön den ganzen Abend anzusehen war :( Der Check in und Check out sehr unfreundlich:(

Great location on the sea front. Very spacious in the bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was really good Evening meal was really good.

Only one real ale which wasn't to my liking.

The hotel is such a friendly, warm and welcoming place. Staff are amazing - really helpful and genuinely friendly. The pub, restaurant and hotel itself are all very nicely done, spotlessly clean and charming. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a drink and watching the sea and the sunset… bliss! And best of all, it’s very dog friendly. We have three dogs and very often if hotels do accept dogs, the limit is two. It’s a total gem and we will definitely be back.

Don't be fooled by the stylish exterior, it's all down hill once you go through the door. Our room was located right beside noisy Metro line, not mentioned when booking. Bar/reception area cavernous and impersonal. Staff were sparse and mostly indifferent. Quality of food was poor, breakfast plentiful but luke warm at best.
