Bracken Hide Hotel

Super emplacement, très calme, cabines cosys et très confortables. Vue magnifique.

Restaurant un peu cher, et pas assez de place pour tous les occupants du site. Sans réservation à l’avance, impossible d’avoir une table.

I stayed in #31 at the top of the hill. The staff were always willing to drive me up in the golf cart with and without luggage. The property is a 20-25 minute walk from the bus stop in the square. The room was a nice size with a big bathroom. The patio had two chairs with a spectacular view below. The room had a mini fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The breakfasts were excellent. The bar was really relaxing. They could use a second person from 6-8 pm. The bartender was serving bar customers but also fixing drinks and serving folks in the restaurant.

The price point.

Die Lage war zu weit weg von der Stadt. Die Idee und Lage in der Natur und der Blick war prima, aber viel zu teuer.

En realidad no me gusto nada porque esta como un 4 estrellas y para el precio que tiene no tiene ni una. La cabaña es chica para el precio. No tenia toallas. La cafetera no andaba. La limpieza pésima. NO CAMBIAROB LAS SABANAS> ESTABA MANCHADA DE SANGRE!!!!!!!!!!

Te lo venden como un super lugar por la Recepción que tiene pero las cabañas son malísimas para pagar 450 dólares la noche.

The overall design is very striking and contemporary, with high-quality finishes and a clear architectural concept. The amenities, especially the shower products, were excellent and smelled wonderful. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of hot plates alongside other options. The setting is pleasant and the location is convenient for exploring the area, with some cabins offering nice views if positioned higher up the hill.

The design often comes at the expense of practicality. The cabins are small and poorly organized in terms of usability, with no proper space for luggage despite oversized furniture. The bathroom is particularly impractical, with no surfaces to place toiletries, water splashing from the sink, no hooks for towels, and no shelving in the shower (products placed on the floor). Overall, there is very limited space to put personal items anywhere in the room. The higher cabins have better views but are inconvenient to access, and the hotel as a whole feels more like a design concept than a comfortable place to stay, lacking warmth and a sense of ease.

The cabin was flawless, modern and wonderfully cosy in the evenings. We loved the location, close enough to town but tucked away enough to enjoy the countryside views. In the main hotel, the bar and restaurant are very well done. We had drinks and dinner one night and thought the entire experience was brilliant. Breakfast too was well organised with table service and plenty of menu options.

Nothing. Though the only thing I could think could potentially improve the hotel would be to look at adding in some hot tubs or even individual saunas for cabins.

An excellent place for a secluded getaway. The room is great and offers a unique experience. The staff is very attentive, and the breakfast was outstanding.
