"Good location, clean room, lovely shower but overpriced …"

Well situated, reasonable room, fab shower …

Queue to check in, there was only one staff member and the hotel was clearly busy as there were a number of music/sports events on last weekend. You couldn’t have the windows open because of the noise from the trams and what is the point of giving guests a free cocktail when clearly they are going out and the bar is closed before 11 ?

"Overall good experience"

The room was comfortable, tidy and close to the centre of Manchester, everything in a walkable distance.

No hair dryer in the room, the lights were dimmable which was nice but some lights were harder to switch on without holding the switch down for a long time.

"Great location"

Location was fab. Staff were friendly and bar areas were lovely. Rooms were decorated funky.

The lights in the room were pretty dull. Not easy to see when putting on makeup. This is a common thing I have found with mal maison hotels in other places
