Glenfinnan House Hotel

Lovely property, excellent food

Nice stay. Staff were lovely. Hotel itself creaks as an old property but generally in good condition. Food very good.

This property is set in a beautiful location. The property itself still needs some updating but has tremendous character. The staff and onsite food are excellent.

Lovely, old hotel with clean room and bathrooms. The hotel manager was fun and knowledgeable making our stay great. Tv didn’t work

De sfeer was warm en welcoming. De staff is uiterst attent en zeer vriendelijk. Ik zou dit fijne hotel op loopafstand van de Glenfinnan ‘Harry Potter’ viaduct van harte aanraden. Superstil, prachtig grote tuin aan de voorkant aan Loch Shiel. Op korte rij afstand van Mallaig voor een heerlijke seafood lunch en de witte stranden van de lokale kust daar.

This hotel has a wonderful location close to Loch Shiel, the Glenfinnan Monument, the viaduct, and the train station with its dining car cafe and museum. Loch Shiel cruises leave from the pier about 150 yards away.

Hospitality was great. We were welcomed by the friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were clean.

This was such a lovely hotel! It felt fancy and was a beautiful blend of antique and modern. The food at the bar and breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic! The staff were attentive and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The fires in the fireplaces made it so cozy! It was definitely a unique stay on our road trip with many bed&breakfast type lodgings. The lawn space was gorgeous - We only stayed a quick night there, but I wish we could have stayed longer so I could have enjoyed it all even more!

Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Loch Shiel and surrounding mountains. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. They shared history about the hotel and surroundings and provided a fun whiskey tasting experience in the bar area. Easy walk to Glenfinnan Viaduct and monument. We will remember our experience for years to come!

The space is gorgeous. It has an old feel with modern updates. The staff was exceptional.
