GBGBLocation is perfect to explore Bakewell and surroundinf areas, as well as the pretty village of Ashford in the Water. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with good facilities. The bar area is cosey and inviting and the full English is one of the best I've had.
Our room was advertised as a deluxe kingsize, and whilst the room was beautiful, it was very small compared to how it was marketed (although I didn't look at the dimensions, I took the headline as a measure of size). Getting out my side of the bed was tight navigating the fireplace and dressing table at the end of the bed. The noise from the bar area does carry but didn't disturb our sleep. I think the price was a little high having seen the size of the room, but equally quality of facilities and breakfast were good.
GBGBThe staff were super friendly and very helpful , the food was absolutely superb , the room was lovely and the shower is just what we needed after a long drive, there is nothing to complain about, we will be staying again for sure!
