The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect (just next to The Cavern). Lots to see and do very close by making touring on foot easy.

The beds were a bit worn, I could feel the springs in my bed, but not the other one.

The room is too hot , the fun is not working

The staff were friendly, and to the extent that they were able, were helpful. The kids loved the giant rooms and beds.

Where to begin. One month later and our security deposit has been returned I think I am now safe to offer my honest feedback. 'Paint it black, but put a chandelier in the bathroom' seemed to be the decor instruction. All black tiles, pinned cushion, floor ceiling. Looks cool in the photos, close up you see everything is grubby. Would be great for doing lines off, or for a porn set. Many fixtures in bathroom broken. Strangely, kitchen was very well stocked, with DOZENS of cutlery sets. Speaking of porn set...if the noise of early morning loudspeakers outside our window to deter the youth from loitering was bad enough, the sound of frequent loud...and I mean loud shagging in the room next door at 6pm, midnight and 6 a.m. was quite tricky to explain to the kids. Luckily the TV could be turned up. The poor security guy was very helpful in response to our midnight request to ask the neighbours to keep it down. The 🔥 alarm was weird. It went off and no one did anything. Poor young woman on the front desk appeared to be talking to the owner on the phone who seemed to be instructing her on how to turn it off. Given the constant aroma of weed outside our room, I can't say I was confident there was NOT a fire. Apparently the alarm 'just does that sometimes.' God help anyone if there was a fire, - staff appeared under trained and resourced. Overall, if you're a location scout for the adult movie scene, an escort, or a dealer, you've hit the jackpot. If you're a family of five naively believing closer to the Cavern etc is better, I would advise you to avoid, and not be fooled by the word 'boutique'. Credit where credit is due, staff were friendly and helpful. And the kids, completely unaware of these issues, loved it.

Didn't see the £100 deposit upon arrival in the small print caught me off guard, I prefer to pay deposit in advance if necessary, said it can take up to a month to get back which let's it down abit
