Location was perfect and central

We arrived as a present of a friend upon arrival we were asked for £100 deposit that needed to be taken from our bank account, this was not told to us until the booking confirmation came through via email as the present was booked the same day we were already on our way to the hotel via public transport. We arrived at the hotel and did not have the money to pay the deposit, however we offered a friends bank details over the phone which he gave approval to hotel staff this was not accepted and we was turned away. We was not allowed to stay at the hotel we explained we had travelled some distance to get to Liverpool and no refund would be given to us. I felt the staff to be rude judgemental unhelpful and quite frankly unprofessional. I have never stayed in a hotel where they physically take the money out of the account and do not return it till weeks later read other reviews left by others.

Great location and was brilliant that my whole family was in one room.

The bathroom was a bit awkward as the bath and jacuzzi was side by side which made it harder into the shower/bath. They have took away the bar from the hotel which is a pity as we wanted to have a drink and watch a football match.

Perfect location for the city centre and arena.

Bed was very uncomfortable, mattress needs binning or a topper putting on it. I woke with a serious bad back!
