Erato by Samian Mare

Nicely renovated hotel in a good location, with a good breakfast.

Forced to book a minimum 5 night stay. Upon check in we were told we could use all facilities/services from the sister hotel next door and we could off charge all expenses to the room, but we quickly found out this was not the case… we had to pay as we used services eg dinner, bar etc No iron or ironing board provided, when asked for iron we were told the hotel does not provide an iron as they don’t ‘trust’ their guests in case they burn the hotel down. You are then asked to use their laundry service which is an extra charge.

Overall very comfortable, stylish and clean room. Breakfast buffet and pool at next door hotel also really nice. What we loved most was the smooth service when transferring from next door hotel Samian Mare to the Erato. We booked very last minute so couldn't stay all three nights in one of both but the transfer / room switch was super smooth! Erato made sure our room was ready before checkout time of the other room and even called us to inform us once it was ready. Great service!

Bathroom en suite with toilet only separated from the rest of the room by frosted glass. We knew this upfront of course but it still feels a bit too 'public'. Good to take into account when you book :-).

The restaurant section was spacious and clean, the breakfast variety was sufficient. Celebrating our babies' birthdays is very thoughtful. When we entered the room there was cake and balloons. We were very happy. This kind thought of the hotel staff surprised and made us happy. Thank you Erefilio <3 (reception)

The rooms are a little narrow and not very spacious, but the beds and the bathroom are very spacious.
