Looking for the best value-for-money apartment with a caldera view? Book your stay at Amphitheater Cave House! I visited Santorini over 15 years ago and stayed at Kamari Beach, as that was all I could afford at the time. I fell in love with the island and promised myself that if I ever had the chance to return, I would stay in Fira. Traveling with three friends, I was looking for an amazing view in a central location with a good layout. At Amphitheater Cave House, all our requirements were met. We had three separate bedrooms, a nice kitchen to prepare coffee in the morning and girl dinner, and the biggest balcony in Fira with the best view. Our bags were collected and carried by the big friendly giant Miri, which we really appreciated. Owner Mlinas welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of useful information on activities, the cheapest supermarket, and even a magic password to get more value for money at his favorite local restaurants and bars. He also told us to text him anytime if we needed anything. When you say this to a Dutch person, we will actually take you up on it! Whether it was champagne glasses, the best matcha in town, or a taxi transfer to the airport— Mlinas made it happen! Don’t hesitate: stay here when you visit Santorini!

My family and I LOVED this stay. It was absolutely stunning, in a fantastic location with the BEST sunset view. The owner was also amazing and so so kind. We will definitely be back

The bathroom was a bit dated but still manageable, however, the rest of the property was so stunning we would stay again

The rooms were gorgeous!! Felt like I was staying in a very authentic part of Santorini. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, they even helped us with our luggage. The area was very close to all of the main shopping and made it easy to visit the town. Overall my favorite stay from the entire trip! I would definitely stay here again!

Too many steps (approx 70) to get to the room that we stayed. There are some rooms which are lesser steps to get to. Better to check with the host in advance if this is a key consideration.

Perfect location ! The apartment was private, with stunning views. Very private. Owner was amazing . Bell boy carried our cases to and from the apartment . Could not have been anymore accommodating .

I cannot express enough just how amazing our stay was at Amphitheater Cave Houses. Our host Minas went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, the location, views and facilities were exceptional. Minas made suggestions to us for things to do and places to eat and we are forever grateful that we trusted his guidance (especially for the sunset catamaran cruise). Our stay in Santorini was most definitely better than we could have hoped for.

The view was great, the internet was very good. We were able to have calls with no problem from the room.

Amazing view, huge terrace overlooking the caldera, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent communication and they organised our transfers and a cruise which was exceptional. Highly recommend the property.
