Front staff were friendly. Their English was a bit hit and miss, but that's what I expected. The location is close to the centre of town so could walk everywhere. There's a nice view from the rooftop. Note the property is uphill to most things in town. Breakfast you had to pre-order the night before. There were limited selections and it was always cold when we arrived, even if we were early. Tea/ instant coffee is always available, a sugary orange drink was available on one day with breakfast, other days there was no options (even if paid). It was also served at the rooftop which had no Aircon, but tons of windows and no air flow! There was a room with Aircon, but they never used it. Room was ok. Aircon had issues with keeping the room cold, even when we kept the blinds cold. There was no hot water ever time we tried to shower. There is a note at reception stating hot water is only provided via solar - so morning/ evening showers would be cold! The bathroom door didn't fit - it could open about 50% of the way due to a bad install and it scraped against the ground every time - I felt bad for our downstairs neighbours. We tried the pool - it was absolutely disgusting. It didn't look like they had cleaned it in months, water was murky and a blue colour rubbed off on our skin. There's a rooftop bar beside the pool, but never saw anyone there to serve drinks. There's isn't anywhere to laydown, which would have been nice. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. Free daily breakfast a plus and can’t beat the location of the hotel. Right in the center of town — walking distance to all places.

Terrible service. Power outage was gone for over 7 hours, noisy street but impossible to sleep on a 35 degrees with no A/C. Fan not enough. I left in the middle of the nite to a different hotel and I want a refound because once I booked I specifically booked for the AC. When I confronted the receptionist after 5 hours of no elelvttucak power she says 5 more hours only to wait madam. Thai si normal she says, but not for me been menopausic, easily I pay $100 plus taxi to go a different accommodation.

It's on the top of a hill so the views of the town and harbor are great. Friendly, responsive staff. Relatively quiet.

If you are a digital nomad, this hotel is not an option due to poor internet. Room cleaning requests had to be made multiple times within the day, water refill and towel replacement still needed to be requested after cleaning. Food orders were cancelled without notice. We booked a deluxe suite room, but had to change rooms to lesser room category because it was too hot. The air conditioning was inadequate for the glass walled windows. No price adjustment was made.
