J & J Homestay

Excellent staff very friendly. The hostel is very nice and comfortable and would need very little things to be perfect. Unfortunately the room is very dirty, as the bathroom i stayed for 4 nights and nobody ever came to do a general cleaning of the room ( i know because the same piece of crackers left by someone was there from check in since checkout. Bathroom same even if its slightly better as i looks clean. However very often is without toilet paper.

The staff are so kind and such lovely people ! The beds are very comfy and everything is very clean. A/C works very well and the location is quite nice. You need to walk 5 mins up a hill, but it’s quick and right next to the start of the sunset trail !

Cheap hostel, get what you pay for, comfortable bed and pillow, good dark room with big lockers

Shower didn’t work properly it dribbled out, beds also felt quite small

First of all the location is hard to reach.steep hill and narrow roads.(If u have leg injuries like I did have stay away from here.when I booked it it was mentioned shuttle service from airport.and when I arrived they said it's not free.if it's not free why would u mentioned on your booking site?after I saw the location I have decided not to stay cuz it's location.i spoke with manager and we agreed upon canceling my stay without penalty.this is happening early morning.i waited till 2 pm no respond.i called a few times the place I spoke with someone and they said they can't do blah blah...the manager started talking "u ll get your money don't worry it will return and such"like I care about 10 dollar.then it just pisses me off cuz I don't care about 10 dollar I care that she is just playing a game like I don't know how booking cancelation works.aftter I said I ll write a review and hung up after 1 minute she agreed to cancel.shame.

Management attitude

Nice cheap budget style hostel. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful with anything at all. They were very helpful with booking tours and arranging transport from the airport.

It was right on the street, as in right on the side of the street, so anyone from the street can walk into the dorm rooms if they aren’t locked when people leave/arrive. But it felt very safe in that area so didn’t bother me too much. The lock for the shower didn’t work so had to ask for that to be replaced, and also had to ask for toilet paper multiple times as there was never any provided. But again, wasn’t too much of a bother at all.

Plus calme que la rue principale avec les nuisances sonores. Le personnel & la famille sont vraiment agréables
