J & J Homestay

The place is nice but the staff is not very accommodating.

I had requested a lower bunk about 5 days prior and it was acknowledged. I arrived sick, had diarrhea and I’m 69. They told me they didn’t have any, but gave one after I checked in to an able bodied fellow I sent there after I made my reservation. I was had chills and they were going to charge me for another blanket. This is not a service oriented outlook.

Family was amazing and location amazing to. 10/10 would defo recommend. Also free water even better

The 2 AM Dog Café Experience—Except I Didn’t Sign Up for It” It’s 2 AM. I’m in bed, ready for a peaceful night’s sleep, when suddenly—I’m transported to a Japanese dog café. Not the cute kind where fluffy Shibas gently paw at your latte, but the exclusive, after-hours edition where one single dog cries like it just found out fetch is a lie—leaving me as confused as a chameleon in a bag of Skittles all at 2 am in the morning! Amazing hostel would recommend but the dog just needs to chill

Everything was very fine, except a few guests were a bit on the young, loud and rude side. But hey, it’s a hostel, what do you expect.

Very good hostel!! Clean and very nice staffs! Excellent location away from the busy traffic and noisy travellers. Short walking to the central areas.

I wish they don’t unplugged the drinking water heater. I got sick from drinking the hot water dispenser. I believe there was pink mould buildup inside which have seen it before.

Near to Mt. Tapias, there is a Van available from the airport to J&J Homestay, vice versa. However, it is better to inform the staff a night before if you have scheduled flight in the morning the following day so that they can book a van ahead of time.

I had a great stay at J&J Homestay. The staff is so friendly and super helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. There's chilled drinking water for guests. You can also book tours through the accommodation. I was there for diving, so I had it preorganised.
