Bamboo House Beach Lodge & Restaurant

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bamboo House in Puerto Galera and overall, it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the check-in and the entire stay smooth and hassle-free.The entire experience exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The amenities provided were thoughtful. One highlight was the dining options. The free breakfast offered a variety of delicious choices, catering to different tastes. The on-site restaurant also impressed with its diverse menu and high-quality dishes.The hotel is also pet and kid friendly. Wifi connectivity is excellent. They can also help arrange a wide variety of services like in-house massage and other activities to ensure you have the most pleasurable stay. I highly recommend Bamboo House for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. The combination of attentive staff, well-appointed rooms, very relaxing ambience, tasty and high quality meals at very reasonable prices make it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Came here on recommendation and were not disappointed. Friendliest staff ever, nice food, relaxing atmosphere.

You should make sure to book a room in advance if you like to have a view, we came on New Years and could upgrade after one night - so no problem at all!

Leaving after One Night...

Infested with fire ants and other bugs.. Bathroom decaying and water not working. No kettle, coffee/ tea... Not even water (we mistakenly stole a jug meant for the builders renovating outside. Builders left their smelly clothes on our terrace together with paint pots and other building detritus. Foul smelling pillows (armpit sweat), stained and stinky mattress (we slept on top of the bed, fully clothed) Very poor location, allegedly on the beach... A 2 metre drop from a concrete wall with only 2 steps to get to the sea.

Very friendly and amicable family and service folks, nice breakfeast and good dinner, beautifully situated directly at the beach. Love this place and hope to return soon. Thank's a lot for this relaxing week.

Property like a hidden gem and peaceful . The food Lao good and delicious like how they are service staff too.

Perfect hideout, great concept, great staff and great atmooshere

Food was expensive. Not accommodative for refund or upgrade because could not check in on date booked because ferry service (Si Kat) was cancelled because of typhoon. Arrived a day later when ferry service was resumed. Owners need to be more accommodative to situations like this which is no fault of customers. Even a request for an upgrade to the room on the last day was denied although room was available.
