Borac Bay View

We stayed at Borac Bay View for 5 days and had the best time! The little hut was cozy and the view really beautiful. What you should now before is that there is nothing really to do on your own, but as in many places in the Philippines you can do a guided tour around the island. Furthermore, the place offers a trip to the opposite island, which takes about 15 minutes with a small boat. The beach there is just like out of paradise, we were almost the only tourists there. The place was perfect for us regarding to find a really calm and quiet stay.

Bumpy roads to get there by scooter. No wifi or signal.

The service, the view, the bungalows, the calm, the sunset and sunrise, the padel, the staff is so friendly. If you need tranquility and peace, this place is amazing!

Nothing

The view from the huts and overall the calmness was great. The island on the opposite side of the place can be reached via a boat and is truly a paradise. Clear beach, good for snorkeling, drinking a coconut and enjoy a majestic view. Also the food from the accommodation was very tasty and good cooked (the fish or adobo were great!) The staff was also friendly and helped with everything.

The tranquility is a given, so no Wifi (which was known), but also „normal“ connection with mobile data was not accessible. This is fine, but when you‘re traveling and need to look for or book things, this should be considered. The place is quite off from everything, so there is not so much to see tbh besides the island, in front of the place it was not possible to get into the water because of the Jelly Fishes. We had the room with the semi-transparent door which makes it super hot in the morning, when it was windy we had to place our luggage in front, so it wouldn’t burst open. But that all was fine. I think what maybe bothered us the most was that the place wasn’t that clean, maybe that‘s due to the fact that it is in the end very basic and more out in the nature. But you shouldn’t be afraid of insects, ants and anything, we also saw two cockroaches. I still think it‘s a nice place overall (and I think it‘s quite new), but there is definitely room for improvement.

We had a lovely ending of our holiday here! After a three day expedition we wanted some relaxation. That’s exactly what we got! The host is super friendly and gave us an upgrade when we arrived late at night. Because we’ve done a lot of tours and seen so much, we didn’t plan anything, but I think you need to at this this place as there isn’t a beach or place you can relax. We wondered if we could visit the island opposite and the staff didn’t hestitate and took us there by boat for a not too big fee. We spend the whole afternoon there and it was absolutely beautiful! We were the only people there and it was paradise! Also great for snorkeling!

The facilities are very basic, so the shower doesn’t always seem to work and we struggled a bit with the noise from other guests during the night.

Off-the -grid (though with water and solar electricity) place, about 40 minutes out of Coron Town proper. Beautiful views, tranquil surroundings, good food in the on-site restaurant. We booked for one day and stayed for three. Beautiful island nearby.

There was no wifi or phone signal - but for us, this was an advantage.

It is far from everything, a little bit bumpyroad sometimes. The view from the room is superb. The caretaker is a very good cook and the restaurant is overlooking the bay. I had a very nice stay here

This is awesome! If you are hesitant to go... Just drop the hesitation and go. To get there we arranged transport from coron town via the host, which went very smooth, the ride itself is already so beautiful! I suppose you can go by motorbike if you are very a confident driver. When you arrive it just so amazing! Quite, relaxing, you feel any stress leaving your body at that moment! We had a small hut which has everything you need and more: I mean the view! You have the sunrise from your bed!! If you do like a bit more comfort, you should go for a bungalow. You can eat delicious local fresh prepared food and the staff is so friendly and nice. We went on a private boat trip twice (good price) and it brings you to an island and the beach, you get it to yourselves! You can go snorkeling with such pretty fish and coral! They packed us the best fish ever and fresh coconut! We had such a lovely stay and loved every minute of it!
