Riad Palau Marrakech

L'emplacement au cœur de la médina est idéal. L'accueil et l'attention que nous porte Maella font que nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Tout dans ce séjour était parfait !

breakfast was good - nice location on terrace - we also enjoyed the fact that unlike a hotel self service it was very local - choice of eggs fresh orange some fruit and local fresh bread and pancakes with jams - mint tea and coffee. it was tasty and enough for a good start to the day. two days we were out early but we arranged that something was left for us in the kitchen for our journey. breakfast is from 9 - 10:30 so you can locally walk the souk to see the set up and return easily for breakfast if you want to get up early. the manageress was excellent as were the two ladies who cook and clean. good little brochure on the souk with maps - Maella knew and guided us as to what to see - information in the location is poor for tourists so her knowledge was invaluable. we missed out on seeing a garden some 30k out but that's because we hadn't seen her early on to say what things we liked. I loved location although initially finding the place was a challenge I think that's part of the experience - once there there are excellent signposts and again Maella had sent photos to follow. it was also easy to get to a trip pick up for get your guide. very soothing feel about the whole environment. lastly the Riad took us in early and our room was available at 12: 00 a huge bonus the cleaner and her son made us mint tea and gave us a lovely welcome while we waited Maella terrace was a bonus we did not use the pool but that also looked a relaxing area and the yoga sounded a tranquil experience

I think the only thing I would comment on was that there was a great first night pack of tea coffee water but that we had misunderstood this to be replaceable - there was kettle and we bought some coffee/tea which we hadn't anticipated but got easily.

The Riad was absolutely beautiful, featuring stunning tiles and charming traditional details. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of drinks and freshly made omelets. We stayed in the rooftop terrace room, which was lovely and came with a nice view that we enjoyed each evening. Despite the busy atmosphere of central Marrakech, the Riad was a peaceful and quiet retreat where we could relax and rest. Also Maella, the owner of Riad was very helpful and friendly.

The property is spotless and location is excellent. The host is fantastic and very welcoming and accommodating. I think the better rooms have better beds, but we booked late and these rooms were not available. Staff is fantastic and breakfast is excellent. It's a great value for the money and great overall.

lovely Riad,Getting in was smooth as instructions were sent prior to arrival,Breakfast was fresh and more than enough. Host was extremely helpful with any request and the room was cleaned daily, very clean and lovely rooftop to chill.
