Riad Del Rey

The location was nice and Bassam was very fast to provide help whenever we called.

We chose this place because it was fairly new and just starting business so we figured it was modern. Instead we found dirty and smelly bathrooms, a dirty shower, power outlets that weren't secured to the wall and a broken bed. The bathroom's door handle broke when I tried to close the door and we were constantly out of toilet paper. Upon checking in, our towels were still drying which tells me they lack any extra for such occasions. We noticed that there is a lack of care from the owner's side since these issues seem to be present since they opened, according to other reviews.

Really nice riad in good locality, close to the sea. In neighborhood, there are market and cafés, but the riad is very calm place. Nice host and her whole family are taking care about the guests and their riad. Although we arrived quite late, the host made a delicious tea for us. The shower with hot water and toilet were very clean. Beds are comfortable.

The only problem were the breakfasts, although the host told us that they are at 9 a.m., the first morning, we were waiting more than one hour till 10 a.m. and 2nd morning, we were waiting for 40 minutes.

Bassam was very friendly and helpful.

Too hot in the room. The beds are not very comfortable. The toilets and bathrooms need to be cleaned more properly.

I liked how close the riad was to the train station, Oudayas, and Medina. The riad itself had beautiful tile, comfortable room, and filling breakfast. Bassam and Imane were also very helpful getting to the riad, finding a taxi, and doing laundry.

The riad isn't on Google maps. I couldn't tell my taxi driver how to get to the riad until I was connected to wifi and could message Bassam.

Breakfast was delicious, especially pancakes. Thank you!

The staff was so friendly and helpful, they let us borrow an adapter when ours didn't fit. It was very clean and a great location just outside the main medina. You can't beat the value for money!

It was a little hot without AC, but they brought a fan when we asked for one. The bathrooms are not the most updated but they're clean and totally serviceable if you're not picky about those things.
