Luxury Resort Suites at Sunway Lagoon by Landmark

The registered address was incorrect; it's actually inside Sunway Pyramid. After retrieving the key from the mailbox, I could take the elevator up from basement floor. After notifying them via WhatsApp that I had entered the room, I was instructed to place the deposit into another mailbox. As a traveler, I didn't know if Sunway Pyramid was safe, but I followed the instructions, took a photo of where I placed it, and shared it with him. The next day, he contacted me saying the deposit was NOT in the mailbox where I placed the cash. He complained that I didn't put it in an envelope, but that wasn't the issue. The problem was making me put cash in a mailbox where it could be stolen. Since the mailbox belonged to him, I asked him to report it to the police and check the security cameras, but he refused to cooperate. He tried to cover it up by saying the amount was wrong, but he doesn't understand the real issue. The problem was making him put cash in an unsafe mailbox. He probably figured if he scammed a traveler, he wouldn't have to waste time at the police station. Since the mailbox is his property, without him taking action, no investigation can happen. Maybe it really was stolen, but I was annoyed he blamed it on me. I hope the next person sees this message and review and avoids getting caught up in trouble.

The location is great. It is linked to Sunway Pyramid Mall and the Theme Park is just a stone's throw away! Easy to find breakfast, lunch and dinner. And to get personal items too.

What's confusing is before the date of check-in, we were asked to pay a deposit to a different management team (not Booking.com). And then upon arrival we have to pay all the balance. I told them I have updated my credit card details, they can just charge to credit card. But they told me that Booking.com will not collect payment; only Sunway Luxury Suite will collect. So we paid in full after collecting keys as they kept on sending WhatsApp as we were having dinner! Then next thing is that when we asked some cleaners outside our apartment to dispose off the trash and give us a new trash bag, they said "No.. your side is under different management, we cannot do for you!" OMG!! For goodness sake, what's with all these "different side, different management" thing??!!! And we asked for another tissue box, they said they don't provide for us. Only for Sunway Hotel, they will. Seriously, Booking.com. you need to look into this. We were all so pissed off and told them we will NOT come here again.

The theme park is as next to the hotel and the shopping mall as well. Very safe. The staff of the hotel as well is nice very helpful.

Overall the room was good but need some improvement for the bathroom.
