Sandakan Inn

I had an early flight to Sandakan and headed straight to the hotel. I've requested for an early check-in (between 9am-10am). The hotel was very accommodating to allow an early check-in so I can refresh myself before going for my appointment. I don't usually take breakfast because all I need to start my day is a cup of hot coffee. Glad to see that there's a coffee & tea facility at the lounge so I can have my coffee the way I like it, even if it's instant coffee.

There's a drinking place next to the hotel. I guess there's nothing much the hotel owner can do about the noise because they're sharing the same building. It only bothers me in the beginning but after falling asleep, it didn't even wake me up until my alarm goes off the next morning.

A minibar inside the room, not many small hotel provide this. They gave us a Check In kit consist of - room key, aircon remote and coffee sachets. Just return the check in kit upon check out and they will refund your deposit. The hotel provides a microwave at the mini pantry (they call it facilities area / common area) at Level 1 which is very convenient especially for family, group of friends and long stay guest. Hot & Cold water is also provided there. Coffee & Tea is free flow. The hotel also provides bottles in the room so we can refill our filtered water unlimited. If you are a traveler, you may want to fill up your own water bottle before you leave for your next destination. The door is locked at night for safety purposes - Definitely will come back again. Feel safe and feels like home.
