Alkioni By The Sea

Намира се в непосредствена близост до плажа. Състои се от две отделни неголеми помещения, в които може да се спи. Втори етаж. Имаше два балкона, което беше предимство. Кафемашината с капсули беше голямо удобство. Препоръчвам да се посещава Сивири юни или септември. През тези месеци има по малко хора и е по спокойно.

Препоръчвам да се помисли за място за обувки в коридора. Друга препоръка - почистването на помещенията да не се прави между 14:00-16:00, когато има вероятност гостите да си почиват.

Amazing

Great location, beach front, very suitable if you have kids (ours was 1yo). Very well organized when it comes down to having a fully equipped kitchen, private parking space and excellent privacy. All in all we are very satisfied and would visit again for sure. However, there are two things that I would urge the property to improve.

The cleaning lady came each day but only to offer toiletries and take the trash out. In our 10 day stay not once was the room cleaned (swept or else). I think if it is expected for the guests to clean their own room, the property should at least offer mop and tray, and most importantly state that in the house rules. We also didn’t like the fact that there is no poster on the door with house rules and wifi password, no emergency chart of the hotel in case of fire.

Our "apartment" was in front of the sea, which was nice. We were received with a big smile and with a very welcoming attitude. It was not expensive but we quickly found out why.

AC Unit in the apartment was not working, we complained and requested it to be fixed to which it was replied that a technician will fix it the next day. The next day, no technician came but someone from the accommodation "fixed" it. The AC unit still had problems and did not function, it was freezing in the apartment and we could not set the AC to heat it up so we spent almost 1 week suffering from the cold everyday. The "apartment" doesn't have a trash bin, only the small one in the bathroom. It had some cookware but nothing crazy. It also did not have any kind of dish soap or sponge so you cannot wash the dishes. The accommodation did not look well kept, the room had broken furniture and the bathroom had mold. The table was outside so if the weather is bad (it was for us), you cannot have a normal meal, because inside there are two sofas instead (?) We arrived on a Wednesday and the apartment was cleaned on Saturday. Almost no natural light goes in. Although the apartment was in front of the beach, at least at the time we went there (October) the beach was pretty dirty but from the pictures in summer it looked nice.
